TV aerial repair and signal fault diagnosis for pixelation, missing channels, storm damage and no-signal problems.

We repair many aerial faults without replacing the whole system. Testing can identify damaged coax, poor connections, misalignment, amplifier faults and weather-related damage.

Pixelation, intermittent reception, missing channels and a complete loss of signal can originate anywhere between the aerial and the television. Common causes include wind movement, damaged elements, corroded connections, water ingress, deteriorated coaxial cable, loose wall plates, failed splitters and amplifier faults. We test the signal through the system rather than assuming the aerial itself is the problem.
Storm damage can also leave an aerial or bracket insecure even when some channels still work. If equipment is safely repairable we will advise on repair; where age or damage makes replacement the better option, we can explain the alternatives before approved work begins.
Freeview faults are often most noticeable as picture breakup, sound glitches or channels disappearing after a retune. Retuning repeatedly will not fix a weak or damaged aerial system. Signal strength and quality should be checked first, along with cabling and distribution equipment. Once the underlying fault is corrected, the television can be retuned and the available channels checked.

The cost depends on access, aerial type, mounting hardware, cable route and whether distribution equipment is required. We assess the job and provide a clear quote before approved work begins.
Yes. We test the aerial system, cabling, connections and signal quality to identify whether repair, realignment or replacement is the sensible option.
Yes. We work with terrestrial Freeview aerial systems and satellite-based Freesat installations, including new installations, alignment and fault finding.
Yes. We can design additional TV points and multi-room distribution while checking that the available signal is suitable for splitting or amplification.
